Private Lake
Owner:
Amy
Retirement Year:
2024
" Since I got him in September he has had some down time learning his ground manners and how to be horse. He is an absolute sweetheart and loves his people. He’s learning to love his horse friends too and has two field mates he hangs with. We’ve taken things slow I was hoping for more hacking this winter BUT Mother Nature has shown up and snow is too deep now. NOTHING phases this guy, at home cows, tractors, combines, fast ATV’s (my children lol) he’s a good egg. We were Lucky enough to get some solo hacks in before snow on Nov and Dec and he was fantastic. We are now confined to arena work and he’s doing great. Thank you for connecting us and we will slowly continue our training, can’t wait to see what the future holds”

Flat Out Vixen
Owner:
Courtney
Retirement Year:
2023
“Feeling pretty lucky to have this girl filling my heart these last few months. Turns out she absolutely loves dogs (I think extra keen for mine;)). She definitely loves hacks extra love for water (especially when she gets to go somewhere new). Seems to enjoy jumping (but I think is waiting for an actual challenge). And her only minor fear is ducks flying out of ponds without warning (totally reasonable). So blessed and grateful for her along with my fellow barn peeps that have given me a new happy place".

Now We Are Nine
Owner:
Jess
Retirement Year:
Thirty (Now we are nine) went to his first horse show this weekend at our local exhibition. Getting 3 4ths and a 3rd in all his over fences classes. He was also a saint and we used him for my daughters (3 years old) leadline class. I love that horses off the track handle the crowds of people coming through the barns, like it’s a normal thing. Thirty was a fan favourite, always greeting the kids walking by! He was completely unfazed by the rides in the background, even with so much to look at he was all business as usual. He went in to our flat classes with horses cantering up his butt without a care. We are all so in love with him and get compliments all the time about how level headed and affectionate he is! He’s really changed a lot of people around here’s opinions on off the track thoroughbreds. Thank you for bringing me to my heart horse ❤️
